Questions, answered
Do I need a subscription to use the camera?
No. A single EOT-1 works fully on the Free plan. MCP, the live stream, photos, video clips, and community marketplace apps are all included, with 100 minutes of cloud video a month. Paid plans add more (or unlimited) recording, fleet management, and support.
What is the difference between local and cloud?
On your own network everything is free and unlimited: MCP, the REST API, photos, and clips all stay local. The cloud platform is optional, and only needed when you want to stream or store footage beyond your Wi-Fi.
Do these plans include the AI model?
No. Our pricing covers the hardware and the optional cloud platform only. The AI model is bring your own: you connect your own account and pay your model provider directly for tokens. Model and token costs are never included in an EOT-1 plan.
