Build the baby monitor you actually wanted.
Not a grainy app you stare at, hoping. One you can ask a question, that answers out loud on the speaker you already own.
The answer lands wherever you already are.
The EOT-1 speaks MCP and REST, so your agent can put what it sees into anything with an API. That is the difference between a camera you check and a camera that tells you.
Other things to ask it.
- ❯Tell me if she has kicked the blanket off.
- ❯Let me know when she is properly down, so I can start dinner.
- ❯Has she rolled over yet today?
Common questions
Is this a real baby monitor?
No, and please do not treat it as one. This is a project you build on an open camera. It has no alarm, no certification, no monitoring guarantee, and no promise that it is watching when you need it to be. None of it is safety equipment. If you want something that will reliably wake you, buy a certified monitor. Build this for the questions a certified monitor cannot answer.
Does video of my baby leave the house?
This is exactly the case local-first was built for. The camera serves frames on your own network and never routes them through our servers. Your agent sends only what you ask it to, to the model you chose, under your account. Point it at a local model on your own machine and video of your child never leaves the house at all, which is not something a cloud nursery camera can offer you.
Can it see in the dark?
With the optional infrared version, yes. It has no IR filter, so it works in a dark room without putting a visible light on a sleeping baby.
