Smart CCTV for Theft
Your CCTV already saw it. Now it can tell you, while he is still in the shop, because recording and noticing are different jobs.
The answer lands wherever you already are.
The EOT-1 speaks MCP and REST, so your agent can put what it sees into anything with an API. That is the difference between a camera you check and a camera that tells you.
Other things to ask it.
- ❯Tell me if anyone goes behind the counter who is not staff.
- ❯Message me the second the stockroom door opens after closing.
- ❯Tell me when the queue is long enough that people start walking out.
Common questions
How is this different from the CCTV I already have?
Your CCTV is a recorder, and it is very good at showing you what happened once you already know to look. This one reads the picture as it happens and sends a sentence to the channel your team is already watching. Same lens, different job.
What about GDPR?
Local-first gives you the short answer to the hard question. Footage stays on your own network and never touches our servers, so "where does the video go" is answered with "nowhere", which is a much easier line to hold than a vendor cloud you cannot inspect. Keep the signage and lawful basis you already have for CCTV, and run a local model if you want nothing to leave the building at all.
Can I run it alongside the cameras I already have?
Yes. It sits on your network at its own address and does not care what else is up there. Start with one on the till or the stockroom door, the two places footage gets checked most, and add more from the same script.
